Caresta LE Stair Lift
The Caresta LE Stairlift is manufactured by Rutherford Independence Ltd., in Concord, Ontario. The Caresta LE stair lift features a worm gear drive system which is battery powered for years of quiet and reliable performance even in the event of a power failure. The padded seat will accommodate passengers up to 350lbs and is height adjustable with swing away arms for comfort and to ease transfers.
The Caresta LE can only be used on straight staircases without landings, curves or overruns but it's simple design and installation makes this stair lift an inexpensive option for people who need a stair lift.
The Caresta LE's unique worm gear drive system utilises a worm gear built into the chair which travels up and down a non metallic geared track making it the quietest stair lift on the market. The non metallic geared track does not require any lubrication making it the cleanest stair lift on the market.
Although this is a basic stair lift, the Caresta LE has all the normal safety features of more expensive stairlifts.
The Caresta LE offers a choice of rail colour, upholstery colour, remote control call/send operation and a manual lowering device.
